If you are enrolled as a full-time student in food, beverage or travel industry studies, you may be eligible to receive a scholarship to attend the upcoming Second International Conference on Culinary Tourism in San Francisco!

The following Terms and Conditions apply:

1.
  You must be enrolled full-time at any institution of higher learning (university, college, community college, culinary school, etc.) in one of the following programs: Culinary Arts, Foodservice, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Hotel Management, Agriculture or Wine Production.
2.
  You can live and/or study at any institution of higher learning in any country. There are no geographic limitations as to who is eligible to receive a scholarship. Only one scholarship is available per applicant.
3.
  Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis. We therefore encourage interested parties to apply as soon as possible to avoid possible disappointment.
4.
  The scholarship covers your conference registration fees, included meals and two nights of lodging. You will be responsible for your transportation to/from San Francisco and to/from the conference location, as well as any mobile educational workshops you choose to participate in and any incidental expenses.

  The Association can only award the number of scholarships that it receives from our corporate partners. If we receive no scholarship funds from our corporate partners, then unfortunately, no scholarships can be awarded.

 

To apply for a scholarship, please prepare the following:

1.
  Your contact information, including your first name and surname (last name), mailing address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, telephone number with country code and email address.
2.
  The name of the academic institution where you are enrolled full-time. Please include your faculty advisor's name, title, phone number and email address. We will ask you to fax a photocopy of your current valid student identification card.
3.
  A brief statement (500 words or less) about why you believe that you qualify to receive a scholarship. Your statement should include how you expect to benefit from attending the conference, and how you believe the Culinary Tourism industry in your area will benefit from your attendance at the conference.
4.
